Ashley was born on the coast of San Clemente California on the 10th of February 1987. Ashley started surfing when she was 5 years old, before she moved to Hawaii. She was the winner of her first surfing competition when she was just 6 with an old surfboard she found on the outside of her house. When she turned 5 She began to learn how to surf.
