Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She owns and runs Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she is a coach for athletes. Annie is the first woman to take home in the CrossFit Games twice. She was second in both the 2010, and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion and media celebrity. The first female to be awarded the CrossFit Games in 2011, as well as 2012, and twice. Also, she was credited with being the winner of in the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 as well as the 2017 Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born in Iceland's Reykjavik area together with her parents and siblings. She enjoyed playing sports and worked out from an early age. In 2009, she participated in the CrossFit games at California in which she did well in initial games. Annie Thorisdottir is expected to turn 31 by 2021. She is 5'7 tall and she weighs 67 kilograms. Annie began CrossFit training in California in the year 2009. She performed well in initial games and finished in the top 10 out of 70. But she did not take home any titles and ended her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came second and took home an Olympic silver medal that same year. In her second year of competition that she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her outstanding performance, she became the first female athlete to win CrossFit Games. In 2012 Annie was again the winner of in the CrossFit Games because of her extraordinary performance. She became the first woman athlete who won twice in CrossFit Games consecutively. In 2014, she received a gold medal. And in 2021, she took home with a bronze. Annie coaches and train with her team at Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie is getting notoriety for her athletic talents, has been featured in commercials for sports products such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration, Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs and many more. Additionally, she has a self-titled Youtube channel with a few thousand viewers where her video clips, diet and travel vlogs are shared.
